And by way of correction I do not write questions for the American Board exams nor do I grade them. The sociometryquestions site is a place for people who want the challenge of questions, and possibly, to connect with others studying for the exam. It will be interesting to use the first question you posed at some time in the future.

Thank you for your response to the sociometry questions I have proposed and the answers I suggested. As I began reading I was preparing myself to receive a modicom of praise. I am sorry I have disappointed you. Certainly pontificating is not something I aspire to. I have re-read the recent answers and am ok with what I wrote.
Maybe you want to try your hand at an answer for the next set of questions, which are:
Practitioner Question:
What are some ways you can work with someone in the whole group who has a fear of the positive star position?
Trainer question:
You want to involve your students in an action session exploring mutuality and incongruity in sociometric choice involving the positive choice, the negative choice, the neutral position and the conflicted position. Describe a few of these activities

Dear Ann and others:
While I certainly and sincerely appreciate your willingness to take on the responsibility and tasks of making up questions for the TEP tests and preps for your students and moreover taking the time and energy to grade them, I felt the need to comment on what you have so generously offered for our review here:
http://www.sociometry.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=125
In all the time that I spent with Dr. Moreno and in all my reading and responses to his work, I was concerned about what is easily understood as over intellectualizing or over analyzing especially given one of the movements in psychodrama where there was a lot of analysis done during the sharing session even psychoanalytically oriented. At the same time, I was concerned about over simplification and the lack of understanding of the underpinning of all action by sociometry and role theory combined to produce pathways to greater spontaneity. Too many were going for EMOTIONAL SHOWS and CATHARSIS instead of assisting the protagonist in building in this surplus reality of the psychodrama etc. a step by step series of corrective accomplishments to be acknowledged by the group in the sharing as the group members too had increased their abilities to face and master their own stucknesses.
Moreno's work has always been crystal clear to me and mathematical in his conceptualization allowing for very direct application. Your questions here as well as the answers took me away from that clarity and seemed to some extent complex for the sake of being complex. And I must admit that I felt like I was reading Kant in the library at the University of Chicago determined to get a good score on the philosophy quiz the next day.
Since I hardly think it is fair to criticize obviously well thought out work such as yours without offering my own questions for examination, I offer some below.
When I was actively teaching psychodrama and sociometry at the New School in New York City as well as in Junior colleges and Universities elsewhere, the following are some questions that are typical of the ones that I put to my students and perhaps are some that you have and continue to use. They touch on central principals of Moreno's work and are immediately applicable giving direction for action while calling for a deeper understanding of the process and the principles that underlie the action: I am sure that you and all TEPs are able to answer them easily as should be the case.
How do you use the information you obtain from a client's sociogram to help them develop a psychodrama?
When you are interviewing a protagonist or having him or her do a soliloquy, how do you go about selecting the appropriate situation to enact?
When acting as a double, when is it appropriate to begin voicing some of the deeper unexpressed feelings you sense within the protagonist?
Define the term "spontaneity" according to Moreno, and explain how you would use the concept in a psychodrama.
Define the term "cultural conserve" and explain how you would apply it to the psychodramatic process.
