RECOVERY & HEALING
A TWO-DAY PSYCHODRAMA WORKSHOP & TRAINING
Rebuilding spiritual, social and emotional connections, reclaiming
self-esteem and getting in touch with feelings are ongoing tasks for
those whose lives have been touched by addiction. Psychodrama is
uniquely suited to address these tasks, facilitating the expression of a
full range of emotions and increasing awareness of self and others. This
workshop/training is applicable for psychotherapists, addiction and
pastoral counselors, health care providers and anyone whose life has
been touched by addiction. Participants will learn powerful tools to
use in their own recovery process or in their work with others.
Where: IMAGINE! Center for Creativity and Healing, San Rafael
When: Saturday, August 2, 9 AM - 6 PM & Sunday, August 3, 9 AM - 4 PM
Fee: $240 ($195 by 7/15/08): full time student rate $150.

Sylvia Israel, MFT (MFC 31245), is a nationally Certified Psychodrama
Trainer (TEP), Registered Drama Therapist/Trainer (RDT/BCT) and
Founder/Director of IMAGINE! Center for Creativity and Healing and Bay
Area Playback Theater. She teaches at the California Institute of
Integral Studies and has presented at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She
has worked at Henry Ohlhoff Out-Patient Program and currently at Alta
Mira Recovery Services. Sylvia maintains a private practice in Marin and
San Francisco.
Elizabeth Plummer, Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP#19690) is
a nationally Certified Psychodrama Practitioner/Applicant-for-Trainer
(CP/PAT), Founder/Director of The Santa Barbara Psychodrama Center and
PEER Action Learning Institute. She is the former director of the dual
diagnosis program of Sanctuary Psychiatric Center of Santa Barbara and
consulting Psychologist for the Santa Barbara Center for Change.
Elizabeth is in private practice in Santa Barbara.
Continuing Education: 14 CEUs MFT, LCSW (BBS 947), & CA Board of
Registered Nurses (CEP 11733). Hours may be applied towards NAADAC,
NADT & psychodrama certification. Registry of Group Certification
pending. .
