The Journal of Groups in Addiction & Recovery, the first peer-reviewed group therapy journal that attends to both the addiction and the mental health needs of clients, is currently accepting manuscripts for consideration of publication. This journal offers an important forum for the diverse team of treatment providers, clinicians, educators, and researchers that serve addictions groups. The journal presents up-to-date clinical, research, and training articles involving a broad range of addictions and compulsive behaviors. 

The Journal of Groups in Addiction & Recovery provides a unique opportunity for group therapists and addictions treatment professionals-as well as academics, researchers, and other health care practitioners-to learn about the latest developments in this specialized form of addictions treatment. The editorial board includes representatives from diverse theoretical persuasions, facilitating communication among the professional communities working with addictions groups.

Manuscripts should be 5-50 typed pages and include an abstract of about 100 words (below the abstract provide 3-10 key words for indexing purposes). The references and format of the manuscript should follow the style of the American Psychological Association.
