I cannot find the original email describing the problem with Derek Gale, but I have a book of his from 1990called "What is Psychodrama A  PERSONAL AND PRACTICAL GUIDE. iT IS PUBLISHED BY gALE ceNTRE pUBLICATIONS FOR tHE gALE cENTRE, wHITAKERS wAY, LOUGHTON,ESSEX,IG10 1SQ. tHE BACK COVER DESCRIBES THE AUTHOR THUS: -

Derek Gale is a qualilfied teacher and dramatherapis who has been involved in groupwork and psychotherapy for more than twenty years. He has worked with children, disturbed adolelscents and in adult psychiatry. He lectures and runs workshops for National Health, Social Sevices and educational organisiations in Britain and is in demand as a teacher of group work in Norway, Holland and Germany. He has a flourishing practice in Loughton, Essex, where has has worked with groups and individuals since 1980. He is Treasurer of the Associatioin for Hu4manistic Psychology in Britain.

The book is dedicated to Zerka Moreno, and is a personal and practical guide. It does not pruport to offer training or                            quaiification, and aims to give the reader a sense of the particular type of therapy so that they can decide for themselves whether to make us of it or not.  The author refers to sessions he had with Zerka Moreno at Beacon, with Ma\rcia and Ken at Holwell,  and describes his own protatagonist work. He is honest about his untrained status, but refers to grandparenting and says...
"These (provisions) are for people such as myself, who pracrtise psychodrama,....who do not have a psychodrama qualification. .....However, I am not on the whole in favour of   wild practitioners, who have not had a proper training. etc......The training offers a degree of   protection to the consumer and show that the person offering the psychodrama is not a  quack".p.107
