Since February 19, Linnea Carlson Sabelli, PhD, TEP has been keeping friends apprised of her husband's ordeal, following an acute arrythmia and collapse on a Chicago city street after parking their car and walking toward the opera. They found his opera ticket in his coat pocket and found Linnea there. Hector was not breathing. A bicycle cop gave him CPR, and a woman found him and notified an ambulance.

Following ICU, and a period of induced sedation, and a number of procedures, he is now at home, having rehabilitation, and back at work on his writing with an assistant. Hector is a MD, PHD, and author of BIOS, and works on process theory (as well as writing about the tango!) and has established the Chicago Center for Creative Development. (http://creativebios.com/) Linnea has returned to her work at the Rush Medical Center School of Nursing.

We are all thrilled with his remarkable recovery after so many fears, and complex medical intervention.

Here is a link to Channel 9 news Video , Tuesday March 26, covering the honoring of Officers Artemo Pena and Matthew Dorn and Witness Beth Kinsella who saved Hector Life Feburary 16.
