"The 'Psolodrama' workshop run by Joel Gluck was the most powerful experiential session for me personally."

"The method that he has developed combining authentic movement with psychodrama truly does result in self-exploration of a profoundly healing, transformative nature.

"I absolutely loved and resonated with this approach and had a deep shift within as a result of my own psolodrama experience."

Our Exploring Psolodrama weekend is coming up soon-June 13-15-but why would you want to attend?

Could it be for the meditation?

For the chance to dive in and do deep personal work?

Or... could it be for Orapin's

Please do not miss this chance to do
Insight Improv while eating like Thai royalty.

Insight Improvisation, based in vipassana & metta meditation practices, authentic movement, theater and drama therapy approaches, is a powerful path for artistic and personal growth and discovery.

Exploring Psolodrama - June 13-15 - will be held in Joan & Tom Webb's gorgeously renovated dance barn, 10 minutes from Providence, RI. Weather permitting, we'll also spread out and enjoy the Webb's beautiful fields and woods-including partner work outdoors.

The weekend is for those new to Insight Improv as well as veterans who would like to take their practice deeper through intensive work. The focus will be on learning and practicing the psolodrama form, including exploring the building blocks of meditation, authentic movement, psychodrama, shared vipassana, the role stream, and a lot more.

The workshop will start Friday afternoon and end Sunday by 5:00pm. Optional sessions Friday and Saturday evenings offer group practice in psychodrama as well as one-to-one coaching with group support.

You can read more about Insight Improvisation and Psolodrama at www.jgluck.org.

Where: Tom & Joan Webb's Jacobs Farm, 130 Jacob Street, Seekonk, MA.

Timing: Arrive by 1:30pm on Friday, end Sunday by 5:00pm. Five work sessions: Fri afternoon, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning and afternoon. Optional sessions Fri/Sat nights.

Lodging: There are several options, including free spots at Tom's (for those who wish to sleep on the floor of the dance barn or tent it outside) and a local participant's apartment. There are also local B&B's for those willing to pay.

Food: We will provide ingredients for all meals (yummy, vegetarian!), which we will cook and eat together, led by chef Orapin. This has worked beautifully at our previous workshops, creating a wonderful sense of camaraderie.

Cost: Food+space rental contribution is approximately $80 per person; we will be able to determine this more accurately and give a final number at the program. The workshop fee is by donation, please pay what you can, or nothing if you prefer! Advance registration and $40 deposit is required.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is not appropriate for those suffering from clinical depression, PTSD, or other mental illness. A background in authentic movement, improvisation, psychodrama, or dramatherapy is helpful but not essential. If you have questions about your ability to participate, please speak with me before registering.

"I am so excited by psolodrama."

"It's fabulous for my performer side, limbering up my imagination and my improvisational muscles. It suits my meditator self, cultivating a compassionate witness. And the more I work with the inner archetypes that arise in psolodrama, the more they change before my eyes. Thank you!"
