I think you might remind folks that this is for Washington, DC. Some who recognize zip codes might know this, but for others making announcements, Good for Atieno---it's nice to hear about what y'all are doing--- but for workshop announcements, please put the city where it's happening in the subject line or at least right near the top...

  Weekly class on preparing for love!

  I am sending out this invitation to single women who want to find a partner and have decided to make space for and claim what they want. (I am cc-ing several people who may have folks to recommend.) I will be facilitating a group that would meet Monday nights (6:30-9) in the yoga room at 3208 Park Place NW 20010 for seven weeks, to go through the syllabus from a book titled _Calling in the One_, which is about letting go of internal blocks. 

  A friend gave me this book and it is not just about "finding a man," (or, for some, perhaps a woman,) but about spiritual development, fostered by the daily practices, and falling in love with yourself. The book works best in a safe, supportive and confidential group. 

  If you are interested and your work schedule allows you to commit, let me know, and order the book from Amazon.com. The group will run June 16 to August 4, skipping July 7. Only join if you can make at least five sessions, including the first one. 

  Cost is $200. 50% of this will go to a nonprofit, (or, with your permission, to Obama's campaign). Unlike wine tastings and other fun events at 3208, this group is about a deeper level of supporting each other, and you investing in the future you are willing to go for. (But it will be very fun too!) 

  Please let me know if there are others who should be included in this invitation.
