The Drama Therapy Institute of Los Angeles announces their summer drama therapy program taking place this summer in Stockholm, Sweden.
"Navigating Uncharted Waters: A Journey Through Narradrama Possibilities"
Stockholm, Sweden – July 4th through July 11th, 2015
Participants will discover and explore emergent stories, integrating drama therapy and media to approach their future and self-identity with new clarity and purpose. This will be a collaborative process that draws on mindfulness, presence, and the inspiring environment of the Stockholm archipelago—and will be substantiated with evidence-based research in the fields of positive psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, narrative therapy, and narradrama.
Workshop Facilitator: Pam Dunne
Director, Drama Therapy Institute of Los Angeles
Pam Dunne, Ph.D. RDT/BCT, Professor Emeritus, California State University, Los Angeles. Dr. Dunne is past President of the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA) and founding member of the Board of Examiners. She has written eight books, including: Double Stick Tape: Poetry, Photography, Drama and Narrative with Adolescents in Therapy and Education, and leads training programs in the United States, Europe, China, Australia and New Zealand.
