I am resigning as a lifetime member of ASGPP due to their cancel culture

Dear Kate:

      It is with deep sadness that I've read of your decision to leave the ASGPP after so many years and such wonderful support. As a part of the leadership culture of the ASGPP, since I'm Treasurer again after eight years from before, I'm feeling perplexed that we haven’t had any conversation about what you're feeling so strongly about, and why you're saying "cancel culture". I respect your decision, however I wish that we had been able to employ some of Moreno's teachings and had some sort of encounter so both sides could have been heard. 

    You've always been such a delightful person to deal with as I tried to put together the Silent Auction for six years.  I always knew that you would make lovely donations and also put together such creative "Basket Cases" as we called them then. I for one will miss you VERY much and wish that I had been able to dialogue with you before your difficult decision. I'm also offering you the opportunity to have some dialogue at least with myself so I can see if there isn’t something that can be done to help you be heard and to help deal with your current  feelings regarding ASGPP. 

    It is with hope and desire that I'll await hearing from you.

To everyone on the list.  I have chosen to leave ASGPP after 40 years of continuing membership because I can no longer support the current leadership.

It makes me sad as our conventions over the year have always been an annual renewal and true hearted friendship as we all grew as psychodramatists.  I will miss you all and hope we continue to stay in touch via email, FB and Instagram. 

I will be continuing to offer our International Certification in Experiential Trauma Therapy using TSM.  We met the online challenge of being online for the last 2 years and I am returning to in person workshops in my home, on the East Coast, and overseas. 

I hope to return when the current leadership model changes.  Please feel free to email at drkatetsi at mac.com or on FB and Instagram is Dr Kate Hudgins.  

Hope to see you again in a few years here and meanwhile there are many other places we will connect.  

My last TSM book is ready to be sent to Springer, Singapore for projection in 2022.  Thanks to Steven Durost as co-author.  “From Trauma to Post-traumatic Growth:  Therapeutic Spiral Model Psychodrama, which we hope will be published in time for the July 2022 IAGP conference.
